Demand Planner (m/f/d)
in Schwäbisch Gmünd

Your core tasks

  • Playing an active role in our Schleich Integrated Business Planning process – especially in our Demand Consensus Session and the Executive meeting.
  • Improving the planning accuracy for your products, franchises and sales regions along the whole product lifecycle.
  • Planning baseline and uplift signals for your own product portfolio together with Sales and Marketing.
  • Improving availability for our customers & consumers in close collaboration with Supply Planning, Order Management and Sales Analytics.
  • Driving a “what-if” planning and decision-making culture throughout our planning processes and meetings.
  • Integrating POS data into standardized planning processes to enable fast demand sensing and shaping.
  • Continuously optimize our Demand Planning process, reporting and tools.

Your profile

  • You have a university degree with a focus on Business Administration, Economics or equivalent education.
  • You have gained several years of relevant professional experience in Integrated Business Planning and Forecasting in an international environment, ideally from a CPG/FMCG area.
  • You have excellent communication skills and strength in leading processes and projects.
  • You are a natural and authentic team player (m/f/d) across departments and capable of collaborative planning.
  • You have a strong “out-of-the-box” thinking mindset, conceptual skills and a passion for continuous improvements.
  • You have gained very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and forecasting software. Experience with SAP and Power BI are an advantage.
  • You are fluent in English and you have good German language skills (spoken and written).
