Your core tasks

  • You are the customer’s advocate for the webshop and ensure the best brand shopping experience is in place.
  • Establish a UX strategy for our webshop https://www.schleich-s.com/ throughout the European markets and its according performance.
  • Conceive and produce mobile-first and responsive mock-ups, prototypes and designs across all our products, with user journey and functionality in mind.
  • Develop user stories with technical requirements - i.e. use cases for all onsite functionalities.
  • Work together with our development department to ensure designs are built in line with our specifications.
  • Set-up quantitative A/ B/ multivariant tests to improve the website performance and ensure an excellent onsite customer experience with business goals in mind.
  • Optimize continuously the user experience through different methods, such as onsite surveys, focus groups or use labs.
  • Maintain different content assets and slots in the webshop (Magento).
  • Define the core UI/ UX/ CX processes, principles, best practices and frameworks incorporating high levels of communication within the team and the wider company.
  • Communicate and coordinate with key stakeholders across the organization to share priorities, align on opportunities, develop and share key learnings with respect to digital consumer behavior through the lens of commercial objectives.
  • Define success criteria and metrics for the products and perform post-implementation analysis.
  • Identify areas for process improvement within the delivery and distribution of both new and existing products.
  • Analyze market trends and sales performance and make informed recommendations for the product.

Your profile

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in (Digital) Marketing, Communications, Business Management, e-commerce & UX.
  • You have gathered a broad experience as a UX Manager or Usability Expert (minimum 3-5 years) in the e-commerce sector, preferably in D2C, brand and/or the toys industry.
  • You have advanced knowledge of e-commerce webshops, ideally Magento.
  • You have good knowledge of the following technologies and software: Figma, Sketch, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), Design Systems, Adobe Creative Suite etc.
  • You display comprehensive knowledge of UI/UX/CX methodologies, usability studies, best practices, techniques and tools.
  • You can show a proven track record of setting up A/ B testing and generating insights out of their significance.
  • You have good knowledge of various project management tools (Asana, JIRA, Confluence etc.) as well as agile web development (SCRUM, Kanban etc.).
  • You are able to use tools such as Google Analytics to obtain and interpret data about the usage of a site, such as identifying where drop-offs occur and analyzing the conversion rates.
  • Optional: You are certified UX manager – base certification CPUX-F, CPUX-UT or CPUX-IIP.
  • You speak both Business German and English fluently.
  • You are a strong team player and communicator, comfortable writing and speaking with designers, developers and all relevant business stakeholders.
  • You are able to brief and manage external agencies.
  • You can manage multiple assignments simultaneously with varying timelines.
  • You are detail-oriented and at the same time able to see the big picture and the business goals.
  • You are delivery focused with a “can-do” attitude.
