Global Inventory & Buy Planner (d/f/m)
in Munich or Schwäbisch Gmünd

Your core tasks

  • Monitor continuously our inventory structure, ranges and trends and proactively decide for improvement actions
  • Regularly meet with responsible colleagues from Sales, Marketing, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Sourcing, Finance and Logistics to align on actions
  • Centralize management of SAP MRP to develop the procurement plan by maintaining MRP-inputs accordingly
  • Ensure local inventory management based on demand requirements
  • Develop and implement a structured and efficient inventory and supply management process across the complete product life cycle
  • Communicate proactive and transparent our global inventory and buy plan to management and global country organizations
  • Monitor our global inventory development including "what-if" simulations through service levels
  • Contribute to the optimization of the flow of goods through smart prioritization and processing of inbounds

Your profile

  • You successfully finished your studies in Economics with a focus in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics or similar.
  • You have a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in Inventory and Buy Planning, preferably in FMCG.
  • You are experienced in SAP MM/PP/SD and ideally used in working with advanced planning systems.
  • Your BI knowledge in ERP environments as well as experience in working with Demand Planning Tools is an advantage.
  • You have successfully acquired skills in project management and apply them on a regular basis, experience in Lean/SixSigma processes is a big plus.
  • Your strong communication skills at C-level and across departments make you a an essential team member from day 1.
  • You have the ability to lead meetings at C-level and across departments.
  • You have excellent English skills, both written and spoken, German is a big plus.
