Product Owner EDI & WMS (m/f/d)
in Charlotte (US), Amsterdam (NL), London (UK), Munich, or Schwäbisch Gmünd (GER)

Your core tasks

  • You will be placed in our IT SAP Team to develop and maintain as Product Owner (m/f/d) our global EDI and WMS solutions to support our operational business in their strategic digital transformation.
  • You are responsible for the solutions and all related interfaces continuous improvements according to our business process and SAP S/4 roadmap.
  • You collect all business process requirements from our internal cross-functional (project) teams and collaborate closely with our international customers & suppliers to deliver end-to-end IT solutions for all parties.
  • Therefore, you prepare and moderate workshops for customer/business requirement workshops, defining the right architecture with our external solution providers and supporting the acceptances tests of our complex global supply chain/logistics processes until go-live
  • You are responsible to improve user interfaces, providing process automation and data validation tools to ensure process efficiency and data quality.
  • You connect new suppliers and customers in cooperation with the business teams, being responsible for the mapping, monitoring of existing processes, and handling the incident & change management.
  • For global rollouts of different processes, you define internal standards, documentation and provide user training.

Your profile

  • University degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics/Administration or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar position or in the area of EDI and/or supply chain/logistics material management system consultancy or IT architecture
  • Good in requirements and process management as well as in data management
  • Knowledge of data exchange formats, like EDIFACT, XML, CSV as well as in interface protocols like SFTP, OFTP, http/s, and AS2.
  • Good Knowledge about warehouse management systems, general understanding of SAP (EWM, WM, MM, or SD) and IDOC communication
  • Experienced in project work, ideally in the FMCG industry (Supply Chain, Sales)
  • Dedicated and motivated work attitude with the courage to learn new things to pioneer new approaches
  • Team-oriented and communicative personality with a sustainable, structured & precise way of working to deliver high-quality solutions and business service
  • Keen perception, excellent analytical skills, and hands-on mentality
  • Very good English skills, German is a plus (training will be provided)
