SAP Consultant Business Processes (d/f/m)
in Schwäbisch Gmünd or Munich

Your core tasks

  • Within the Global Business Process Management team, you are the point of contact for all SAP demands (change requests, project support, etc.) for all business areas (core areas: Finance, Supply Chain, Sales).
  • You will be responsible for the SAP strategy and roadmap from a business point of view and therefore responsible for the evaluation, business case calculation and prioritization of all the demands. For this, you will collect and validate all project deliverables against requirements and ensure the consistency of demands across all business functions. Then you will analyze, align, and describe the business needs to feed and continuously improve the SAP roadmap.
  • You will be the Demand Process Owner in the business and the main contact person for the global IT/SAP project teams as well as for upgrades and maintenance. Therefore, you are the change approver from business to IT and vice versa as well as the approver of SLAs and service exceptions.
  • You ensure the accurate execution of the projects, communicating and steering the activities of SAP projects into the business teams as well as ensuring the business value of implemented solutions.
  • You collaborate closely with business processes owners and managers of all functions, the master data management team, and the SAP relationship manager to support the execution of the global process harmonization strategy and S/4HANA roadmap.
  • You will be the interdisciplinary team lead of the global SAP Key User community, in charge of the people nomination, organization, and development according to the needs of the business.
  • You will also support the business to establish, maintain and develop SAP knowledge base through feedback and coordination of documentation, training material and continuing end-user SAP training.

Your profile

  • You have a degree in business administration, informatics, supply chain management or equivalent.
  • You have several years of professional experience as an SAP Business Analyst or Process Manager (ideally in the area of the FMCG industry).
  • You have professional experience as SAP Key User within a global environment (ideally with a focus on Operations and/or Supply Chain), especially with functional capabilities and usage of SAP R/3 in the modules of WM, MM, or SD.
  • You have a high process and IT affinity, a good understanding of operational and logistical processes and a strong focus on service deliveries.
  • You are highly communicative and work proactively by being an absolute team player with hands-on mentality.
  • You can organize and motivate cross-functional teams in daily business as well as project work.
  • You are talented in describing processes (in words and visually), workflows and creating easy-to-understand user training material.
  • You are fluent in German and English.
