Your core tasks

This role is both strategic and hands on. You can become a key driver to the success story of Schleich, by driving a content marketing strategy in line with our digital brand strategy and eCommerce sales targets.
  • Ownership of the non-paid traffic acquisition to Schleich online shop in order to reach defined KPIs and sales targets
  • Increase website traffic through both on-page (website architecture, internal links, loading times optimization, crawling, …) and off-page activities
  • Perform market research & keyword research, incl. competitive analysis
  • Analyze web traffic for deeper understanding of which web pages and search queries generate the most traffic, leads and sales
  • Monitor Google Search Console and similar webmaster tools
  • Create informative and engaging website content, specifically landing pages (page structure, copy and visual assets)
  • Develop and implement a content marketing strategy together with our brand marketing department
  • Work closely with UX and marketing colleagues to explain and prioritize new SEO and content features
  • Drive automation of rich content for retail partners via product feeds and other technology.
  • Support by the content development and delivery process for key partners like Amazon: A+ pages, brand shop and SEO, search engine relevant text productions.
  • Managing the relationship between the digital marketing team and our country marketing managers helping them both understand performance and tasks and working with local teams on various projects

Your profile

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, Business Management, e-Commerce or Computer Science.
  • You should bring a minimum of 3-5 years of work experience, including a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Content Manager, SEO Manager or in content marketing in a digital marketing role.
  • You have a founded experience with SEO tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Sistrix – and proficient Excel experience.
  • You are knowledgeable of web technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and XML.
  • You have excellent copy / content writing and editing skills, together with a passion for content creation.
  • You are experienced with CMS, Webshops – ideally Magento.
  • You have strong collaboration skills, both with internal teams and external agencies.
  • You are business fluent in German and English.
