Your core tasks

The Role
Reporting to the Sales Director Eastern Europe, the Sales Manager (m/f/d) Poland will play a critical role in shaping the key account strategy in the region, developing and driving flawless execution of the customer business plans. Delivering growth requires strong collaboration within the Schleich EE team and more broadly, across all the entire Schleich organization.

Your core tasks
  • Be responsible for developing and executing the winning Sales Strategy in the country.
  • Drive the turnover and profitability of Schleich across multiple sales channels in Poland, with a strong focus on toy specialist players or retailers, for example Smyk or Empik.
  • Develop and execute an annual joint business plan per key account that supports the long-term brand building strategy of Schleich.
  • Devise terms and conditions for each account which are consistent with Schleich’s sales strategy.
  • Manage sales forecasting and inventory levels to achieve planned levels of demand fulfilment.
  • Develop and execute plans for permanent visibility and sales activations with selected accounts. Increase visibility and discoverability of Schleich brands, products and activations on retailers’ sites.
  • Develop and implement the Schleich key store strategy online and offline, including digital and physical market runs and following up on the corrective actions.
  • Manage the future Sales force in the country, such as Area Managers.
  • Work with supporting functions within the Schleich HQ such as finance, credit control, supply chain, HR, legal, to ensure the best possible support and alignment with global objectives and processes.
  • Seek out exceptional opportunities for developing the business.
  • Some travel days inside of the region and abroad incl. visiting the industry toy fairs are expected.

Your profile

Knowledge and experience
  • You have several years of relevant key account management experience in the toy industry in Poland.
  • You have experience of working in a multinational, matrixed organization in the consumer goods industry / industries, desirable in a global FMCG company.
  • You have a proven track record in developing and successfully executing customer business plans in the company / companies with consumer brand / brands in the core.
  • You have a demonstrated ability to work and deliver across matrix cross-cultural organizations and you are willing to adapt to those ways of working as required for the business.
  • You have experience and knowledge in sales and category / trade marketing management.
  • You have a proven track record in effective leadership through others.
Personal attributes
  • You have minimum an HBO or Bachelor level education in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or similar.
  • You are hungry for opportunities and for developing ways to exploit them.
  • You are enthusiastic and passionate about brands and products.
  • Your working style is data-driven and you are a forward thinking “what if” questioner.
