(Senior) Key Account Manager UK/Ireland (d/f/m)

The following adventures await you at Schleich:
- Develop and maintain successful relationships with senior buyers across allocated retail accounts.
- Hold regular meetings with retailers to include, previews, business plans and key sell in periods
- Prepare annual customer plans (aligned to the company business plan), to support deliverance of all budgetary requirements, KPIs and objectives
- Maintain close working relationship with the Head of Sales UK&I to ensure all objectives are achieved, particularly in the areas of pricing, promotions, customer terms and marketing
- Work closely with customer support, logistics, development, and marketing to ensure the best solutions are delivered & day to day support for all retailers
- Look for opportunities, develop and open new business within the national retail space
- Regular reviews with finance to appraise credit limits and resolve PO/Invoicing issues
- Ensure day-to-day issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner
- Attend conferences, exhibitions and events where required
- Be aware of all new developments in the marketplace (including competitor activity) and provide regular/relevant feedback to all internal stakeholders
- Always implement best practice, ensuring first class customer service
The chapters of your story so far:
- You are a pro-active and enthusiastic self-starter, with demonstrable record of success in a national retail space; grocery / discounter experience is desirable
- You bring excellent communication skills
- You demonstrate experience of utilising reporting and operational functions (Power BI/ SAP)
- You must have the ability to manage your time efficiently
- You are willing to act on own initiative and take decisions, but you are also conscious of your role within the team framework
- You are able to reach a solution to the benefit of both the company and customer
- You ensure accurate deliverance of all activities, with the ability to work to deadlines
- You are structured in all aspects to ensure all goals/objectives are achieved
- You are able to understand and interpret sales data, with the ability to present findings to both internal and external audiences
- This role requires UK travel, so job holder will possess a full UK driving license and be prepared to stay away from home when required
