Senior Master Data Manager (d/f/m)
in Munich or Schwäbisch Gmünd

The following adventures await you at Schleich:

Development and implementation of company-wide master data management structures and processes as well as an overarching data governance program in close coordination with representatives of business, process management and SAP

This includes in particular:
  • Design, build and oversee the data management organisation and define roles, responsibilities and processes related to data governance
  • Analysis and assessment of the (meta) data quality, derivation, planning, implementation and control of measures to increase the data quality
  • Development and implementation of a data quality monitoring system to ensure data quality
  • Definition, implementation and assurance of a standardized and harmonized approach for data lifecycle processes and data migration processes
  • Reviewing and analyzing the impact of business process change requests on the data framework
  • Creating transparency and business understanding with regard to the data landscape based on/using data lineage, data inventory, data dictionary and business dictionary
  • Develop and maintain the inventory of data (object) maps, including leading, following systems, departments, and responsibilities
  • Raising awareness, advising and empowering business units in the handling of master data and promoting best practices (MDM, data governance) through appropriate training formats

Your story so far:

  • You should bring a degree in industrial engineering, business engineering, data & analytics or similar
  • You have several years of work experience in data management or data governance expertise
  • You have demonstrated knowledge and skills in data management, data governance practices and data quality principles and methodologies
  • You have experience in communicating and cross collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders with varied backgrounds
  • Your need a hands-on mentality and be a self-starting individual with can-do attitude
  • You have strong consultancy skills and business-oriented mindset
  • You need a very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP MDM/MDG
  • You have experience with the implementation of new processes
  • You need very good English language skills written and spoken; German is a plus
