Accountant Accounts Payable (all genders)
Please note that this position is based in Prague and follows our hybrid working model. Relocation support is not offered.

The following adventures await you at Schleich:

Reviewing, processing, and posting supplier invoices and other Accounts Payable transactions while ensuring accurate accounting treatment and timely recording of all business transactions
Performing invoice matching, resolving discrepancies, and collaborating closely with Procurement, Logistics, and other stakeholders
Preparing and executing vendor payments as well as reconciling payment transactions, bank statements, and vendor accounts
Creating, maintaining, and updating vendor master data and serving as a key contact for suppliers regarding invoices, payments, and account-related inquiries
Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities while ensuring the accuracy and completeness of Accounts Payable records
Ensuring compliance with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements
Supporting projects focused on process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement within Accounts Payable

Your story so far:

Proven accounting experience, preferably in Accounts Payable, with knowledge of
International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and strong understanding of invoice processing, vendor management, and payment execution
Proficient in data entry with strong numerical skills
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently and autonomously
Experience working with ERP systems and Accounts Payable workflows; SAP knowledge is highly desirable
Sound user knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, Outlook and MS Teams
Very good language skills in English, German and further language skills are an
advantage
