Our application process

You have found a suitable job for you?

A fast and transparent application process is very important to us. However, the process below varies depending on the business unit, the position and your preferences. Successful applicants usually go through an introductory interview, a video interview and a personal interview on site. Depending on the position, there will also be an assessment round before, during or after the Hiring Manager Call, in which we evaluate your professional skills. We invest time and effort to hire the most suitable candidate, but we also appreciate your time and effort. Therefore, please feel free to contact your recruiting responsible at any time.

Your way into the Schleich team

1. Application
Find a position that matches your skills and submit your application online via the application form. If you think you would be a good fit for Schleich, but there is no suitable position available at the moment, you can also submit a speculative application so that we can consider you for future positions.

2. Screening
Our recruiting team reviews your application documents and checks your profile for the requirements of the position in close cooperation with the department. You will receive feedback on the status of your application within a week at the latest.

3. Discovery Call
If your application has convinced us, we will invite you to a first, half-hour interview with HR via Microsoft Teams. The focus is on initial questions about the job and a discussion of your CV. As a small tip: already inform yourself about Schleich and take a look at the job description in advance to be optimally prepared.

4. Hiring Manager Call
Your contact person from HR will get back to you by phone or email after a few days to invite you to an interview with the department if the initial interview is successful. In this one-hour Microsoft Teams interview, we will evaluate your professional qualifications for the position and you will have the opportunity to learn more about the tasks and challenges of the position.

5. Onsite Interview
Great! You've made it this far. This means that you have been shortlisted and you fit the overall job requirements and to the team personally and professionally. We hope you have also gained a positive impression of us as a potential future employer. In a personal interview on site, you will get to know your manager (if you haven't already done so) and/or team colleagues and get an overview of the workplace. Any final questions will be openly discussed and clarified by both sides during the 1 to 1.5 hours.

6. Decision
After you have gone through all the steps of our application process, we will inform you of our decision as soon as possible.

Regardless of the decision, we look forward to receiving feedback on the application process via the employer rating platform kununu.
