Head of Digital Commercial Enablement (all genders)
in Charlotte, North Carolina (USA) or Munich (Germany)
The following adventures await you at Schleich:
- Develop and implement the D2C tech product roadmap in collaboration with the commercial D2C team, prioritizing website enhancements that increase value for end consumers
- Optimize website performance and customer experience
- Strategically manage and collaborate with external agencies for web development, SEO, and CRO/UX
- Lead and continuously develop the Global Digital Commercial Enablement team to enhance technical and business skills
- Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and brand teams to improve the flow and utilization of digital content and product information
- Manage and technically oversee the web store and relevant eCommerce tools (e.g., GA4, Shopify, Klaviyo, Nosto)
- Monitor and optimize digital presence with B2B e-tail partners (e.g., Amazon)
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and IT security regulations in close coordination with global IT and legal departments
- Identify and evaluate industry trends to create competitive advantages through networking, attending conferences, and continuous learning
- Further develop the digital infrastructure, including contract management, supplier oversight, and IT/service operations
- Oversee the entire D2C post-order management, including collaboration with global customer service agencies and coordination of financial and logistics processes for payment and refund processing
- Work closely with the global IT team to ensure technical alignment and support for Schleich's enterprise architecture
Your story so far:
- You have a university degree in business, IT, e-commerce or a comparable background
- You have at least 5 years of experience in software development in e-commerce or related areas
- You have experience in managing employees and external agencies
- You are familiar with SCRUM and SCRUM-like project methodologies and the associated tools such as JIRA, Confluence, M365
- Knowledge of programming languages is a plus
- Experience and familiarity with Shopify Plus and Amazon tools is an advantage
- You are able to grasp overall business contexts and integrate digital tasks into the overall business context
- You work in a solution-oriented manner, see challenges as opportunities, are always motivated to expand your knowledge and keep up to date with current software developments
- Excellent communication (written and spoken) in English required
