IT Operations and Systems Administrator (all genders)
Please note that this position is based in Munich and follows our hybrid working model. Relocation support is not offered.
The following adventures await you at Schleich:
- Take ownership of our hybrid IT infrastructure—administering Microsoft Azure, M365, Windows & Linux servers, and end-user devices—to keep our digital backbone running smoothly.
- Be the go-to technical partner for internal teams and external vendors, coordinating IT operations, change management, and service delivery with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
- Lead and support infrastructure projects from planning to implementation, including cloud migrations, system upgrades, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Ensure our IT security posture is solid—managing patching, antivirus, and system hardening while keeping us aligned with GDPR and ISMS standards.
- Keep our teams connected and productive by managing AV conferencing (Teams), telephony (Teams Telephony, call center solutions), and networking (Cisco Meraki, LAN/WAN, VPN).
- Provide second-level support and oversee user onboarding/offboarding, ensuring a smooth and friendly IT experience for every colleague.
Your story so far:
- 5+ years of experience in IT systems administration or operations, ideally in a small-company or all-rounder setup.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft technologies (Azure, M365, Windows OS), with a passion for modern IT solutions and infrastructure.
- Solid understanding of networking, telephony, and IT security fundamentals.
- Fluent in German and comfortable communicating in English.
- A team player with a proactive, user-first attitude who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
