Junior 3D / CGI Designer (all genders)
Please note that this position is based in Munich and follows our hybrid working model. Relocation support is not offered.

The following adventures await you at Schleich:

Creating high-quality, photorealistic renderings, visualizations, and animations of our figures and playsets for all brands in the schleich portfolio
Collaborating throughout the entire 3D pipeline, including data preparation, modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, lighting, and rendering
Ensuring compliance with existing quality standards and guidelines for all visualizations created
Creating AI-generated assets in conjunction with 3D data and renderings
Assisting with the preparation, maintenance, and organization of 3D data and asset libraries
Collaborating with internal stakeholders from marketing, product development, packaging design, and brand management
Supporting collaboration with external agencies, freelancers, and production partners
Monitoring current trends, technologies, and tools in the fields of CGI, rendering, and animation, and contributing new ideas to the team

Your story so far:

A successfully completed degree or vocational training program in 3D design, CGI, animation, media design, or a related field
Initial practical experience in 3D visualization, CGI, or animation, such as through internships, part-time student jobs, or personal projects
Proficiency in common 3D software, preferably Cinema 4D in combination with Redshift and Substance 3D Painter; a basic understanding of ZBrush is also a plus
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and Illustrator; additional knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud is desirable
Understanding of the fundamentals of 3D production, particularly modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering
Basic proficiency in generative AI for image and video creation
A solid understanding of graphic design and a desire to explore new creative territory
A structured, meticulous, and independent work style
Strong teamwork skills, a willingness to learn, and enthusiasm for new technologies
Good written and spoken German and English skills
