Junior Trade Marketing & Events Manager (all genders)
Please note that this position is based in Munich and follows our hybrid working model. Relocation support is not offered.

The following adventures await you at Schleich:

POS, Displays & Trade Marketing

  • You will oversee secondary placements and display projects from the planning stage right through to their implementation in-store.
  • You will coordinate the production, provision and delivery of displays, POS materials and promotional equipment.
  • Working with internal teams and external partners, you will coordinate designs, production data, materials and timings.
  • You will support the further development of existing display and POS concepts and ensure high-quality implementation.

 

Trade Fairs & Events

  • You will be involved in the planning and implementation of national and international trade fairs and events.
  • You will coordinate stand builders, suppliers, agencies and other external partners.
  • You organise exhibits, samples and materials and assist with the preparation of exhibition stands and showrooms.
  • At selected events, you will be on site to oversee set-up and dismantling, as well as the organisational aspects.

 

Project Management & Collaboration

  • You keep track of timelines, outstanding tasks and project statuses, and work with all stakeholders to ensure implementation is completed on time.
  • You work closely with Sales, Marketing, Category Management and Supply Chain.
  • You create purchase orders and manage relevant materials, master data and workflows in SAP.
  • You assist with reporting and analysis, and use the results to further develop future POS, promotional and trade fair activities.

Your story so far:

  • You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or a degree in business, marketing, event management, retail or a similar field.
  • You have some initial professional experience in trade marketing, POS, event management, marketing or project management.
  • You enjoy organising projects and coordinating several tasks simultaneously.
  • You work in a structured, reliable and solution-oriented manner.
  • You have strong communication skills and enjoy working with a variety of stakeholders.
  • You have a good knowledge of MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ideally, you have some experience with SAP.
  • Very good German and good English skills round off your profile
  • For trade fairs and events, you’re prepared to travel from time to time and to lend a hand on site.
