First Placement / Planogram Manager (all genders)
in Munich

The following adventures await you at Schleich:

  • Planogram Development and Execution: Develop and implement strategic planograms across various channels and store formats
  • Sales Aids Development: develop and implement impactful and shopper marketing oriented POS materials
  • Steer our own POS system: Continuously improve our POS fixtures consisting of a gondola, merchandiser and backwall system and guide its execution to maximize impact at the POS
  • Merchandising Principles: Create high-level merchandising principles tailored to different store sizes based on category management input
  • Call to Action Planning: Design and manage call-to-action plans to drive engagement and sales across different channels
  • Performance Monitoring: Track planogram performance, analyze effectiveness, and make necessary adjustments to optimize strategies
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate merchandising strategies clearly with the Sales team and other stakeholders to ensure consistent implementation
  • Operational Management: Oversee SAP workflows, budget planning, and ensure efficient operational execution with stakeholders and agencies
  • Implementation Tracking: Track implementation success rates, document learnings, and ensure they are reported and applied
  • Team Leadership: Lead a graphic designer responsible for creating sales aids materials, such as catalogues
  • Continuous Improvement: Engage in ongoing learning and refine merchandising strategies based on feedback and real-world applications

Your story so far: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree: In Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus
  • Experience in Merchandising: Proven experience in developing and implementing planograms and merchandising strategies
  • Strategic Planning Skills: Ability to plan strategically and execute at both high and operational levels
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong skills in tracking performance metrics and making data-driven adjustments
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and clear dissemination of merchandising strategies
  • Operational Proficiency: Experience with SAP workflows, budget management, and coordination with stakeholders and agencies
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a direct report.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: Commitment to continuous learning and applying feedback to improve strategies
