Interim Procurement Manager - Consumer Goods (all genders) limited to 15 months
in Munich
The following adventures await you at Schleich:
- Creation and further development of the global supplier and product group strategy
- Responsibility for purchasing characters and playsets from global suppliers
- Independent preparation and management of price and contract negotiations with own responsibility for results
- Controlling and evaluation of continuous supplier improvement as well as independent derivation of measures to improve performance
- Strategic preparation of award decisions and supplier approvals within the material group including implementation of make-or-buy analyzes
- Carrying out detailed value analyzes in cooperation with the cost analysis department as well as creating measures to implement the potential savings shown
- Independent implementation of procurement market and product research to identify new manufacturing processes and new technologies
- Cross-functional and cross-location cooperation with internal interfaces (production planning, development, quality and logistics)
Your story so far:
- You have a technical or business degree or a comparable qualification
- You have several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing in the consumer goods sector
- You have extensive knowledge of the procurement market and new developments
- You have very good IT skills (Microsoft Office applications) and extensive knowledge of the SAP environment, primarily in the area of SAP MM
- You can also demonstrate very good knowledge of negotiation and contract law
- You have very good English skills and good skills in German
