Procurement & Packaging Specialist (all genders)
in Munich, Germany
The following adventures await you at Schleich:
- Independent solicitation, comparison, and evaluation of offers for operational projects
- Independent conduct of supplier meetings and price negotiations
- Master data maintenance and invoice verification in SAP
- Creation of orders for packaging requirements in the system
- Support of strategic purchasing in projects and general tasks
- Creation of Excel files and presentations for analyses and reports
- Independent creation of orders in the system based on needs arising from packaging development
- Development of primary and secondary packaging in collaboration with Global Marketing
- Optimization of existing packaging to improve processes, quality, and reduce complexity
- Organization and evaluation of packaging tests with Quality Management
- Development of sustainable packaging strategies and coordination with strategic partners
- Analysis of packaging processes and adjustment of packaging instructions
- Supplier management: selection, evaluation, relationship maintenance, and cost optimization
Your story so far:
- You have a completed technical or engineering degree (packaging technology, production, production technology, etc.) with a focus on packaging technology
- You have gained experience in operational procurement
- You have prior professional experience in packaging development or packaging management
- You demonstrate an independent and responsible work style
- Assertiveness, a confident demeanor, and strong communication skills are second nature to you
- You have experience in project management
- You possess good knowledge of MS Office, Adobe Illustrator, and experience with SAP
- You are willing to travel and have good English language skills
