Product Quality Engineer (all genders)
in Schwäbisch Gmünd near Aalen
The following adventures await you at Schleich:
- Ensuring product conformity and general product quality requirements
- Supporting our suppliers in the quality development and testing of products in various development stages as well as the follow-up of series quality
- Carrying out risk and safety assessments and initiating corrective measures accordingly
- Independent and timely execution of qualification tests in cooperation with accredited testing institutes and suppliers
- Provision of customer and government documentation
- Implementation of a continuous improvement process for products and processes to reduce customer, supplier and internal complaints
- Collaboration in the further development of quality management in accordance with DIN ISO 9001 / 14001 and 50001
Your story so far:
- You have a degree in plastics technology, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
- You have professional experience in quality management in a comparable position, ideally in a plastics processing company
- You have experience in the implementation of APQP, initial and series qualifications, ideally in accordance with global toy safety requirements
- You have a completed additional qualification in the field of quality management with proof of training, e.g. as a quality officer (d/f/m), quality manager (d/f/m), FMEA moderator (d/f/m) or Six Sigma
- You have business fluent written and spoken English skills
- Business trips are no problem for you
- You are characterized by an analytical and independent way of working
- Experience in an international and intercultural environment is an advantage
