Product Quality Engineer
Please note that this position is based in Munich and follows our hybrid working model. Relocation support is not offered.
The following adventures await you at Schleich:
- Ensuring all Quality Gates within the NPI process and compliance with defined quality requirements
- Demonstrating product conformity with legal regulations, standards and internal specifications
- Conducting and facilitating risk analyses (e.g. FMEA, risk assessments) throughout the development process
- Applying lessons learned from previous projects to continuously improve future product developments
- Driving and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality
- Coordinating and communicating with external test labs for product testing and certification
- Ensuring all relevant regulatory and normative requirements are up to date and integrated into the development process
- Acting as a key contact for suppliers regarding product quality topics and supporting issue resolution
- Supporting project teams on quality‑related matters throughout the entire development lifecycle
- Documenting all quality activities, test results and conformity evidence
Your story so far:
- Degree in engineering, quality management or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
- Several years of experience in quality management or product development
- Solid knowledge of relevant standards, regulatory requirements and testing procedures
- Experience with risk analyses (e.g. FMEA) and quality methodologies
- Experience working with external test labs and certification bodies
- Structured and analytical working style with strong communication skills
- Very good command of English, written and spoken
- Willingness to travel, including multi‑day international trips
