Specialist Group Accounting (all genders)
Please note that this position is based in Munich and follows our hybrid working model. Relocation support is not offered.
The following adventures await you at Schleich:
- Responsibility for the monthly, quarterly, and annual preparation of the Schleich consolidated financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
- Preparation of consolidation (capital consolidation, debt consolidation, expense and income consolidation)
- Group-wide policy-making authority and responsibility for the Group accounting policy
- Technical support and assistance with global projects such as the introduction of IFRS; expansion of the Schleich Group
- Definition and preparation of standard reports and ad hoc evaluations
- Technical expert (all genders) and contact person for accounting issues within the Schleich Group
- Contact person for auditors and top management
Your story so far:
- You have successfully completed a degree in economics (business administration, accounting, or similar) or have a comparable qualification (professional exams in tax consulting or auditing are an advantage)
- You have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in financial accounting/balance sheet accounting/accounting
- You have in-depth knowledge of accounting in accordance with HGB and IFRS
- You are characterized by an analytical, structured, and independent approach to work
- Continuous improvement of existing processes is one of your strengths
- You have strong communication and implementation skills and are a team player
- Experience in the use of SAP R/3 or SAP S4/Hana, LucaNet/BPS 1, and in the introduction of software solutions is an advantage
- Very good German and English skills round off your profile
