Team Lead New Product Steering (all genders)
Please note that this position is based in Munich and follows our hybrid working model. Relocation support is not offered.

The following adventures await you at Schleich:

  • Lead and develop a team of Novelty Project Managers and Sample Managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.  
  • Take overall responsibility for recruitment, workforce planning, and capacity management within the team.  
  • Support the professional and personal growth of team members through coaching, mentoring, and development initiatives.  
  • Own and drive the end-to-end project management process for all new product introductions, ensuring effective planning, execution, and governance.  
  • Ensure the successful delivery of product launches across the portfolio, with a strong focus on timelines, budgets, quality, and business objectives.  
  • Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks while aligning mitigation plans with key stakeholders and management.  
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Management, Marketing, Sales, Procurement, Engineering, and other key stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.  
  • Continuously improve project portfolio management and governance by leveraging insights, best practices, and lessons learned.  
  • Drive the development, implementation, and optimization of project management standards, processes, methodologies, and tools. 

Your story so far:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Innovation Management, or a comparable qualification.  
  • Several years of professional experience in project or product management, ideally within the consumer goods industry.  
  • Proven experience in leading and developing teams as well as managing complex cross-functional projects in dynamic environments.  
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop teams while effectively navigating complex situations and stakeholder relationships.  
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills combined with a strategic, business-oriented mindset and a hands-on approach.  
  • Passion for innovation, market trends, and emerging technologies within the consumer goods industry.  
  • Business-fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
