Legal Counsel (all genders) - 12 Months
Please note that this position is based in Munich and follows our hybrid working model. Relocation support is not offered.

The following adventures await you at Schleich:

  • Advise business departments on all legal matters within an internationally operating toy company 
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with B2B customers, suppliers, and partners – including the development and refinement of contract templates 
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal requirements and support the implementation of new legislation 
  • Identify legal risks and develop suitable mitigation strategies 
  • Oversee and implement data protection measures in close collaboration with our Data Protection Officer 
  • Develop and conduct internal trainings on legal topics and compliance-related matters 
  • Maintain and structure key legal documents and agreements
  • Develop and update internal policies, processes, and standards 
  • Support corporate law matters, in particular the preparation of shareholder resolutions 
  • Provide regular reporting on legal topics and projects to the General Counsel

Your story so far:

  • You are a fully qualified lawyer (1st and 2nd State Examination) with at least 3 years of professional experience in an (international) commercial law firm or as in-house counsel in an industrial company 
  • You are highly motivated to take ownership and continuously develop yourself 
  • You have strong knowledge in commercial and (international) business law, corporate law, contract law, and intellectual property; experience in data protection law is a plus 
  • You possess excellent analytical skills and work in a structured and data‑driven way 
  • You quickly find pragmatic solutions and act as a valued sparring partner to the business 
  • You communicate clearly and enjoy working closely with a variety of stakeholders 
  • You work independently, structured, and solution‑oriented – while also being a strong team player 
  • You have very good knowledge of common MS Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel 
  • You are fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
